I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
